Wisdom

Don't fool yourself. Don't think that you can be wise merely by being up to date with the times (1 Corinthians 3:18, Message)

Many people are knowledgeable, but few are wise.  The Bible tells us what wisdom is and isn't.  Mean spirited ambition isn't wisdom.  Boasting that you are wise isn't wisdom.  Twisting the truth to make yourselves sound wise isn't wisdom.  Real wisdom, God's wisdom begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along with others.  Wisdom is the ability to make the right choices at the right time.  So how do you access wisdom for living?  You need wisdom that helps you cope with your work, your family, your friends and even your enemies.

The greatest wisdom comes from God.  Meditating on His word will bring you wisdom.  Wisdom also comes from experience, as you mature you learn from your experiences.  There are certain things that you did in the past that you know with certainty that you would never expose yourself to again.  Why?  It is called "Wisdom".  We should learn from our mistakes by identifying our weaknesses and then applying wisdom to those areas.  God desires for you to have a relationship with Him in which you can seek wisdom from Him for every issue you need wisdom for.

Pray today for God to give you wisdom and then walk in wisdom and have a victorious day.
